Our Client is a leading Financial Institution who are expanding their team.  With opportunities across various branches/locations, the focus of the Mortgage Specialists is on building and maintaining new and existing customer relationships while proactively growing market share in both the business and personal segments. This role is also focused on having a deep understanding of the general market and mortgage competitor landscape.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience and ensure quality customer outcomes.
  • Fulfil mortgages ranging from first time buyer and switcher mortgages to high value and complex mortgages.
  • Grow and maintain internal and external relationships and networks of contacts which result in the generation of business leads.
  • Be a champion for the Company in the local community.
  • Perform duties in a compliant manor in accordance with policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

  • QFA is the preferred qualification however applications from individuals who hold APA Loans, Regulations and Investments will be accepted on the understanding, that, if successful at interview, you will commit to attaining QFA within 18 months of being appointed to the role.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage segments and experience in the mortgage market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively as part of a high performing team.
  • Excellent track record of exceeding and delivering across the key metrics of credit quality, business performance and customer experience.
  • Experience of delivering commercial success from business development through quality relationships, effective planning and optimisation of opportunities.
  • A team player with experience of collaboration and partnership across a range of stakeholders in order to meet customer needs.
  • Self-motivated and energetic with the necessary drive, enthusiasm and commitment to achieve agreed goals.
